Palin – the candidate that can’t shut up

Sarah Palin is like the Everyready battery … she just keeps on going. There doesn’t appear to be any shutting her up. She is soooo anxious to give an interview (you betcha) that today she gave one at a turkey slaughter house… with the slaughtering going on in the background. One reporter was kind enough to ask if she really wanted that in the background according to CNN, and ‘bubbly Sarah’ assured him that was ‘no problem’.

Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.

“It’s nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn’t so heavy handed politics that invites criticism,” Palin said during the interview. “Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun.”

“I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that,” she also said.

Here is a lovely commentary from a fellow Alaskan regarding this ‘presidential-like’ pardon. She says Alaska hasn’t done this previously and apparently it is the only way left for her to ‘feel presidential’.
