Counting our blessings rather than our challenges.

Today is a day of turkey, families, football and counting our blessings. Wheather you are looking at your life from a religious aspect or simply from an achievement point of view, it is good to stop, look back and take inventory. We have heard so much bad news recently that it is easy to slip into a mindset of self-pity. While I know how devastating job loss can be, I lost mine twice in the early Reagan years and was jobless for eight months, I know there are still a lot of things, even if you are out of work, to be grateful for. So, let’s take one of our famous ‘Gratitude Tests’. Of course, as always, we ask you to add your own thoughts below. Also, tell us what is your favorite part of Thanksgiving. Tell us what happened when the turkey cooked too long or wouldn’t thaw in time. We want to hear it all. Spare no details.
