The Hermitage – St. Petersburg, Russia

A few months ago, we went to Russia and while we were there, we visited the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The Hermitage was previously the Winter Palace of Russian Tsars. It is an incredible structure and even if you don’t think you like museums (and I’m not big on museums either), you’ll probably find the architecture absolutely incredible. The green-and-white three-story palace is a marvel of Baroque architecture and boasts 1,786 doors, 1,945 windows and 1,057 elegantly and lavishly decorated halls and rooms. I set the video to various kinds of Russian music since the audio portion of the video was just a hollow sound of muffled people talking in various languages, none of which we could understand. I hope you enjoy the video.
