Autumn on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Many of us who live on the East Coast recognize the spectacular beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall (not that it’s not beautiful all year around). The trees are golden yellows, reds, browns, etc and the streams are gorgeous. If you stop to enjoy the trickling of the streams and the briskness of the autumn air, you can enjoy a peace and serenity that is rarely achieved. When I grew up, we lived close enough to go to the Parkway regularly, often weekly, but I was not as aware of all the beauty surrounding me then although I was in reality, absorbing it. So I wanted to share with you a video that I made to capture a portion of that beauty and serenity.

  1. Great video. Thanks for sharing! We have a Blue Ridge Parkway Fall Colors Tracker over at BlueRidgeParkwayDaily.com. Great way to see when and where the leaves are changing.
